Get students multiplying and dividing with this active participation unit. Each lesson teaches concepts through short stories, phrases, or an activity. Things get hopping as students have fun jumping through hopscotch patterns reciting multiplication and division facts. Reproducible "Learning Logs" provide a chance for students to reflect on how and what they have learned. Students keep a daily journal and take pre and post tests to chart their progress. The number of class periods varies depending on the amount of practice time allotted. Using the time chart it is 18 periods. Grades 3–6. Interact.
